How A-Fund Works

Here is a brief overview of how the A-Fund process works.  A-Fund is the first of its kind that offers a secured platform to contribute funds to a members going away, separation, or retirement.

What is a Soldier Registry?

The A-Fund store offers an online registry where friends and family have a way they can directly contribute to a members going away.   A-Fund exists to help boost the morale of the men and women currently serving.  How we accomplish this goal is we ensure that a member not only receives an item that they will like, but we do NOT send those item(s) directly to them.  Instead, it has to be delivered to their supervisor or POC in their chain of command.  This safeguard is place to protect the idea behind A-Fund and ensures the recipient is honorably departing the station, separating, or retiring.

 

Why Was A-Fund Created?

For decades members rely on their peers to not only remember them when they leave, but to have something ready in time.  This concept was started due to seeing many of my fellow servicemen/women leave without any recognition.  Changing bases is a time honored tradition that is sadly slipping away due to low manning, low morale, and not enough supervisors able to provide the finances to recognize their people.  A-Fund now allows friends and family to contribute to their loved one as well as spouses, children, public, and business.
